Simon has over 25 years of experience in the Financial Technology sector, working in both senior executive roles and as a consultant. His wide-ranging management and advisory experience has been gained with vendors supplying application software and services to both the “buy” and “sell” sides of international capital markets, as well as working directly with those organisations. He has held management roles with several leading organisations in the sector—including the London Stock Exchange, ACT Financial Systems, and Primark Investment Management Services—and has worked on major market infrastructure projects such as BOAT and Turquoise.

Simon has deep knowledge of the vendor community and has been involved with a number of successful business acquisitions and disposals. He also has extensive business development experience, including establishing joint ventures and distribution arrangements between complementary organisations.
