Goldenhill International M&A Advisors today announced that it acted as M&A advisor to Brady plc (“Brady”) in its acquisition of Syseca AG (“Syseca”), a privately-owned company based in Zug, Switzerland.
Syseca provides logistics software for the electricity markets which extends Brady Energy’s product offering by adding up-to-date physical electricity trading capabilities and connectivity to most major European Transmission System Operators (TSO’s). Syseca has been operating since 1994 and its clients are based throughout Europe. The total consideration paid by Brady for Syseca is CHF 1.8 million (£1.2 million) including CHF 0.4 million deferred consideration. Of the total consideration, CHF 0.7 million will be payable in Brady shares on completion.
Brady’s expertise in energy trading and risk combined with Syseca’s strength in physical energy trading solutions enhances Brady’s platform for growth.
Commenting on the contribution of Goldenhill to the just completed transaction, Gavin Lavelle stated:
“we have worked since 2008 very closely with Goldenhill to assist us in all aspects of the M&A process including both this transaction and the Navita transaction also announced today. Their knowledge of the FinTech sector, presence on both sides of the Atlantic and experience in the M&A process has been of real value to us. Goldenhill’s commitment and perseverance in working with us has never wavered and we look forward to continuing our working relationship with them.”
